I hope that DC/WB can take this film and use it's structure and how it was directed for the rest of their films. Although the plot was a typical superhero film, the characters were wonderful on screen and Gal Gadot has been the biggest surprise for me. I was incredibly skeptical when she was announced back before BvS came out, but she has been the only solid character so far in this cinematic universe. It's bittersweet to say that, because Batman has been my favorite character since i was a child and my adoration has only grown since, but his debut so far has been fairly weak. I really hope the standalone film is great!
